I think that’s still a decent price, clearly it’s been maintained. 90% of an M5 at xx% of the price (I would have said 50%, but prices on M5's is all over the place).

I would argue it’s all the M5 you’ll really be able to enjoy on the street, everything else like the brakes and the extra horsepower is just for lap times/track reliability and consistency. Unless you enjoy punishing ride quality like me

I dearly loved my former E39, and it didn’t even have a V8. They are supremely good cars.

It looks to have been taken care of, but that’s still a lot of miles ...great engine, of course, but having owned a BMW of that era it’s all the other little things (largely electrical) that will have you tearing your hair out (or at least, your wallet).
